The day after 4th of July, we went on a tour in the San Juans to Burrows Island. Our first real kayak trip! We were pretty tired from setting off fireworks the night before, but managed to make it to Anacortes by 8 A.M. in decent shape. Of course we needed coffee! It was a beautiful trip, however, we all had sore backs from sitting in the same position for over 3 hours. And some of us with smaller bladders definately were happy to see restrooms apon returning to the dock! And of course, the one person (Brent) who drank a 24 oz. latte prior to the trip is the last one who needs to use the bathroom. Not fair! Overall, it was a great trip! Next time, a boat with a motor!
