Kayak Tour to Burrows Island
The day after 4th of July, we went on a tour in the San Juans to Burrows Island. Our first real kayak trip! We were pretty tired from setting off fireworks the night before, but managed to make it to Anacortes by 8 A.M. in decent shape. Of course we needed coffee! It was a beautiful trip, however, we all had sore backs from sitting in the same position for over 3 hours. And some of us with smaller bladders definately were happy to see restrooms apon returning to the dock! And of course, the one person (Brent) who drank a 24 oz. latte prior to the trip is the last one who needs to use the bathroom. Not fair! Overall, it was a great trip! Next time, a boat with a motor!
Trip to Askew's Cabin in Whistler
Playing cards while the kids were sound asleep! And maybe putting back a few Crown and Cokes. It was a great way to spend a weekend, and hang out with some friends that we haven't seen since our wedding! We should really get up to B.C. more! Thanks Ashleigh & Rob, Clayton & Rosella, Jamie & Misty, for a great weekend.

Some Zipline Footage in Maui
This was Brent's gift for his 33rd birthday! Happy Birthday hun! I hope you had fun!
Brent yells out "Ziplining" while ziplining on the 8th line.
Hope he didn't just realize this. (Due to wind, this one is loud!)
Our Trip to Maui
Drive to Hana
We stopped along the Hana drive and saw these beautiful waterfalls.

Us at the Lahaina Luau
Brent & his buddy, Rob, at the Black Sand Beach also along the Hana Highway. We actually just found out the Askew's were going to be in Hawaii at the same time as us a week prior to our departure. We spend a lot of time hanging out with them and having fun with the their adorable little girls, Bella and Hannah.

Vancouver Olympics 2010 - Weekend #2
Still weekend #2 at the Olympics. Today we attended the Molson Canadian House of Hockey with Brent's stepsister's Megan and Nicole and their better halves Tom and Eric. It was nice to finally meet you Tom!
We had a wonderful time at the Olympics! Thank-you to all the wonderful volunteers. Vancouver put on a fantastic event. It was highly organize and prepared!
Vancouver Olympics 2010 - Weekend #2
We attended the speed skating event - short track. Awesome! Sooo much fun! We went with Brent's brother-in-law Trever and Viking.
Christmas Eve
Brent, Dani and I at some little Greek restaurant in Marysville outside the Regal Cinema. We had our first gyros prior to viewing Avatar 3D (you didn't think these were our actual sunglasses did you!?!?!?). Avatar is fantastic! Our next stop was Grandma Hoffman's for good food and good company!
