Catching a Sunday Mariners Game

While Alison and Gaynor were here, we decided to catch a last minute Sunday baseball game before they departed. The weather was great and we managed to avoid the deadly but delicious Famous Safeco Field Garlic Fries. Thank goodness because there's no coming back from that! After negotiating for cheap tickets with the scalpers for what seemed like forever, a nice stadium employee pulled Alison over and gave us all free tickets! Thank-you Stadium Guy! And thanks Alison for wearing those shorts a little shorter that day!

Space Needle Brunch

Brent's parents, Alison and Gaynor, came down for the weekend and took us out for brunch at the Space Needle in celebration of Brent's Birthday. It was an amazingly filling meal (I'm still full and it's now a week later!) and a fantastic view. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Space Needle, it is very high and it actually rotates giving you a view of the whole city. It was a great time and we were in good company! Thanks again Alison and Gaynor!

Dane Cook Concert

My sister Dani came down to join me at the Dane Cook concert. Before departed to the concert we stopped by Alki Beach for a bike ride along the water. It was a little windy that day, but still a fun ride! When we arrived at the concert (uninjured thankfully), they upgraded our seats for FREE to the 8th row from the front! It was hilarious and amazingly close to the stage! Love Dane Cook! Thanks for spending the day with your big sis Dani!

A summer full of house projects.......

Neely and Brent hanging out on a hot day after work in the yard. One of our several projects for the summer was installing new basement windows. Brent did a great job for just learning on the fly. Neely on the other hand........did a lot of lying on the grass.....and panting...... And as for me, I just took pictures of everything! =)
